FUCK YOU.
YUUSHIN DON’T LET HER DOWN GENTLY.
Hope this is okay x3
Ever since the early 1900s, Japanese Manga-ka have been creating Shoujo manga for
girls and young women. They were a lot smaller than they are now, we didn’t have the extensive twenty-five volume series’ we have now. They were one-page, two-page, sometimes three-page comic strip featured in girls’ magazines. Just as the popularity was dwindling, however, the beloved Manga-ka Osamu Tezuka (Known best for Astro Boy), began publishing the legendary “Princess Knight.” It totaled six volumes, as well as inspiring an anime series, running 52 episodes and a feature length film.
Hi!! I’m one of the new bloggers, Sweetie-chan! I’m a Canadian female, in grade eleven, and I recently moved to a new town! After my first day of school, today, I decided I should do a little something for Maria and the blog. Hope you don’t mind, Maria <3 <3
I’m happy to be able to write a bit about things I love~ And shoujo manga is one of my warm fuzzies x3 So I’ll write a review about one of my favorite shoujo mangas (and animes~), Kimi ni Todoke.
(I hope Maria won’t mind my posting here ^_^)
Hello everyone! Uhm… Letsee…
My name is Alyssa Mihara, a new author here at We ♥ Shoujo. Read more about me in my blog: ranshinkawaii.wordpress.com . I hope that counts as an introduction :D
Thanks Maria for adding me as an author here ^_^

Now about shoujo things…. I just want to post about a certain manga-ka: Natsumi Ando.
I’m currently into her works, like, Zodiac P.I. and Kitchen Princess (though I have only 1 volume of Zodiac P.I. and two volumes of Kitchen Princess :D ). Anyway, both the titles are in the shoujo genre so I know everyone here would love to read them, so I highly suggest Kitchen Princess and Zodiac P.I.! (and yes, I haven’t finished them yet >.<)
Kitchen Princess

Shoujo manga can get very predictable. People who don’t love shoujo don’t read it probably for that reason. That and the fact they don’t like stupid heroines and icky romance.
But luckily (for us), that’s why we read shoujo manga, right?
For its predictability, romance and that tingly feeling it gives you when something sweet happens.
I know I go on about not liking to read shoujo manga that’s way too predictable, but it’s what every shoujo manga is. Predictable. Some are more predictable in others, but every shoujo manga has a degree of predictability in it. Especially for long time shoujo readers. Because we just know how the story goes.
