An Old Anime: Cats’ Eye

Cats’ eye is a manga written by Tsukasa Hojo and has been turned into an anime, it is split into 2 seasons , the first season with 36 episodes and the second season with 37 episodes. It’s quite old however still quite popular.

From My Anime List:

“The three Kisugi sisters — Rui, Hitomi and Ai — during the day run a small cafe called “Cat’s Eye”. To discover the whereabouts of their father, the artist Michael Heintz, who has disappeared, Hitomi and her sisters rob art galleries as the smart and mysterious thief “Cat’s Eye” in the hope that his works can give them clues about his vanishing. The crucial point is that Hitomi has a relationship with Toshi, a police inspector who has sworn to catch “Cat’s Eye” — and of course he has no idea about Hitomi’s double life.”

Sometimes these kind of pictures appear, it looks like a painting and uses lots of techniques. It is so pretty!

The idea of a double life is very complicated, this often caused lots of trouble between Hitomi and Toshi. The storyline is very heart touching, especially when Hitomis’ identity is almost discovered by Toshi, in one episode Toshi and Hitomi were acting in Ais’ play, Hitomi played the role as Cats’ eye and Toshi is the police.

Both of them will sacrifice themselves for each other, it’s so ROMANTIC!!! The 3 sisters are very intelligent and sporty, they gain success in most oftheir missions and some episodes are really funny. I really recommend you to watch it!

this picture shows when they are on a mission wearing their “thief” costume
